4 Steps to Deal with Overwhelm

I hosted a private Mimosas & Manifesting event in Boston via Boston Babes Social Club on Sunday and OVERWHELM came up quite a bit.

So wanted to share my 4 steps I use to move through it — especially when you want to create change in many areas of life.

Let’s get into it:

  1. What’s the top priority for this next month? Choose one area of life to focus on. As you improve & elevate one area — this will affect every other area…you know everything is connected

Here’s a list of areas of life I recommend to choose ONE from:

    • Dating/love relationship

    • Work/career

    • Money/wealth

    • Wellness/energy

    • Confidence & self worth

    • Purpose & fulfillment

    • Friends, family, & community

    • Inner peace

    • Spirituality/religion

    • Adventure, travel, & excitement

    • Or add in any area not included here

  2. Schedule out 15 minutes each week to plan out your intentions regarding this area of change/improvement you’re working towards. Personally, my favorite day to do this is on Sunday afternoons, but choose a day that will work well for you.

(learn how to set these intentions this in this week’s Lifestyle Rebellion podcast episode).

  3. Track your progress (ideally daily). The tiny moments, the big moves, completing your intentions, the mindset shifts, showing up when you didn’t feel like it, meditating, appreciating yourself — ALL OF THIS IS PROGRESS.

Make sure you’re celebrating yourself along the way — this builds trust in yourself and massive confidence.

You can do this using the Notes app on your phone, a Google doc, or a notebook.

  4. Have a practice/ritual to tune into the feeling of the change of this area already being DONE. What does it feel like to have created the change you want in this area? Let’s cultivate that state of being now.

One of my favorite ways to do this is through Future Self Visualization audio, which is included in the show notes of this week’s podcast episode.
